Overview

A constant temperature bath surrounds samples with a stirred liquid — water or oil — held at a set temperature, giving far better stability and uniformity than a hotplate. Yamato's line covers open water baths for everyday heating, shaking baths that agitate samples while thermostatting them, personal and low-temperature units for small benches and sub-ambient work, and high-capacity oil baths reaching well above the boiling point of water. Digital PID control, over-temperature protection, and low-liquid-level cut-outs are standard across the range, and most models accept a choice of racks, lids, and accessories to suit flasks, tubes, or bottles.
