Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction Systems
MGI's extraction systems automate magnetic-bead nucleic acid purification from blood, tissue, swabs, and other sample types, delivering the consistent yield and purity that downstream sequencing, PCR, and molecular diagnostics depend on.

Overview
Nucleic acid extraction sets the ceiling on everything downstream: inconsistent yield or carried-over inhibitors will limit a sequencing run or a PCR assay no matter how good the chemistry that follows. Automated magnetic-bead platforms apply the same wash and elution steps to every sample, removing the operator variability inherent in manual columns. MGI's range spans the MGISP-NE32 for 16 to 32 samples, the flexible MGISP-NEX with interchangeable 24- and 96-head configurations, and the MGISP-NE384 for laboratories processing several hundred samples a day. All three run unattended and support a wide range of sample types and extraction kits.
