High-Throughput Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction System: MGISP-NE384 — Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction Systems

Manufacturer: MGI — Latvia

Overview

The MGISP-NE384 is a high-throughput automated nucleic acid extractor that uses magnetic rod technology to process and purify nucleic acids from up to 384 samples in a single run. Flexible mixing modules with independent Z-axis control allow the system to handle different sample volumes, with 1 to 4 modules available depending on required capacity. A built-in HEPA filtration system and UV lamp prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean working environment throughout extraction. Compatible 96-well plate reagents and disposable tips minimize operational errors, making the system well suited to high-throughput laboratories that need speed, precision, and consistent performance.

Maximum Throughput

The MGISP-NE384 processes up to 384 samples simultaneously, arranged across a 4×6 array of 96-well plate working positions. This high sample capacity significantly boosts productivity in high-volume laboratories.

Contamination Control

The system is equipped with a HEPA filtration system rated at 99.99% efficiency at 3 µm, along with a UV lamp delivering a radiation dose greater than 100,000 µW·s/cm². Together these features ensure a contamination-free working environment for sensitive extraction workflows.

Flexible Configuration

Independent Z-axis control allows a choice of 1 to 4 mixing and magnetic modules, adapting the system to different sample quantities and throughput needs. The lysis and elution wells can be heated from 5°C above ambient temperature up to 115°C, with a temperature precision of ±1°C.

User Interface and Software

A 23-inch built-in touch screen running Windows software provides a user-friendly interface for creating, editing, and deleting extraction programs. This makes it straightforward to manage protocols across high-throughput extraction runs.
