Single-Cell & Spatial Omics Systems

MGI's single-cell and spatial platforms partition individual cells for library preparation, image whole tissue sections at subcellular resolution, and read many protein markers simultaneously — extending genomics from bulk averages to individual cells and their position within intact tissue.

MGI — Single-Cell & Spatial Omics Systems

Overview

Bulk sequencing averages a signal across millions of cells, hiding the rare populations and tissue architecture that often carry the biology of interest. Single-cell methods partition each cell into its own reaction so that transcripts can be traced back to their cell of origin, while spatial methods keep the tissue intact and record where each measurement was taken. MGI's range covers the DNBelab C-TaiM 4 droplet generator for single-cell library preparation, the Go Optical imaging system for Stereo-seq spatial transcriptomics, and the VisiOmics PM-IF20 and DNBSEQ-G400RS FluoXpert for multiplex immunofluorescence. Together they support tumour microenvironment studies, developmental biology, immunology, and neuroscience.
