Overview

Go Optical is a Stereo-seq spatial omics imaging system built on a positive fluorescence microscope platform, delivering high-depth, high-resolution imaging in Epi-fluorescence, Epi-bright field, and transmitted bright field modes. It captures high-resolution images with minimal stitching errors, making it well suited for tissue segmentation and precise spatial gene expression localization. The system features a large 100 mm × 70 mm X&Y travel range, a motorized 4X/10X/20X (expandable to 40X) objective lens converter, and standard DAPI, FITC, TRITC, and CY5 fluorescent channels with optional channel expansion. It supports both manual, human-guided observation and fully automatic scanning and imaging workflows.

Optical System and Imaging Modes

Go Optical is built around a positive fluorescence microscope supporting Epi-fluorescence, Epi-bright field, and transmitted bright field observation modes. A motorized 4X, 10X, 20X objective lens converter, with 40X support, enables flexible magnification for different tissue and resolution requirements.

Scanning Performance

The system covers a travel range of 100 mm × 70 mm in the X and Y axes, scanning a 10×10 mm area under the 10X objective in 70 seconds or less. Two auto-focusing modes, autofocus and map navigation, help maintain image quality across large scan areas.

Fluorescent Channels

Standard configuration includes DAPI, FITC, TRITC, and CY5 fluorescent channels, with optional configuration of additional dye filter blocks for expanded multiplexing needs.

Operating Modes

Go Optical supports both manual operation with human eye observation and fully automatic scanning and imaging, offering flexibility for different laboratory workflows.

System Specifications

The instrument operates on approximately 220 V power with a rated power of 300 VA, measuring 400 mm × 334 mm × 726 mm and weighing approximately 36 kg. It is rated for operation between 5°C and 40°C with 30–75% relative humidity, non-condensing.
