Overview

Manual pipetting is the slowest and least reproducible part of most genomics workflows, and the point at which cross-contamination and transcription errors are most likely. Automated workstations perform the same steps under software control, logging every sample and reagent as they go. MGI's range runs from the compact AlphaTool and PrepALL benchtop robots, through the flexible eight-channel MGISP-Smart 8, to the MGISP-100 library preparation system and the 96-channel MGISP-960 for high-volume laboratories. HEPA filtration and UV decontamination are available across the range for work with sensitive templates.
