Automatic Pour & Cloud Point Tester: RPC-401
The RPC-401 is a single-place automatic pour and cloud point tester built around a Free-Piston Stirling Cooler (FPSC). Because the FPSC cooling engine is self-contained, the instrument does not require an auxiliary cooling system based on alcohol refrigerant or fluorocarbon gas, making it compact and environmentally friendly.

Manufacturer: Rigo — Japan
Overview
The RPC-401 is a single-place automatic pour and cloud point tester built around a Free-Piston Stirling Cooler (FPSC). Because the FPSC cooling engine is self-contained, the instrument does not require an auxiliary cooling system based on alcohol refrigerant or fluorocarbon gas, making it compact and environmentally friendly. As with RIGO's larger RPC-3 series, the instrument can measure cloud point and then continue directly into a pour point measurement on the same sample. A sister CFPP (cold filter plugging point) tester is also available in the same product family for laboratories that need all three low-temperature fluidity tests.
Compact, Refrigerant-Free Cooling
The RPC-401 integrates a Free-Piston Stirling Cooler directly into the instrument, eliminating the need for a separate cooling bath filled with alcohol refrigerant or fluorocarbon gas. This design reduces the footprint of the tester and avoids the environmental and handling concerns associated with conventional refrigerants.
