High Temperature Furnaces
High temperature furnaces take samples far beyond the range of a drying oven for ashing, calcination, sintering, and materials heat treatment. Yamato's electric furnaces combine ceramic-fibre insulation with programmable control for fast heat-up and stable, uniform soak temperatures.
Overview
Where a laboratory oven stops, a high temperature furnace begins. Yamato's electric muffle furnaces serve ashing and loss-on-ignition testing, ceramic and metal sintering, glass work, and heat treatment of materials, with maximum temperatures reaching well over 1,000 °C. Lightweight ceramic-fibre insulation shortens heat-up times and reduces power consumption, while programmable controllers run multi-step ramp-and-soak profiles unattended. Safety features such as over-temperature cut-outs, door interlocks, and exhaust ports for evolved gases are built in.

Models
FO Series
The FO Series is Yamato Scientific's standard electric muffle furnace line, and most models use RCF-free alumina fiber insulation in the furnace.
FP Series
The FP Series is Yamato Scientific's high performance muffle furnace line, and most models use RCF-free alumina fiber insulation to comply with RCF.
N2 Gas Generator (NF300)
The NF300 is a nitrogen gas generator from Yamato Scientific that produces high purity N2 gas, from 99 to 99.99%, using the pressure swing adsorption.
