Calibration Standards
A magnification figure means nothing without traceable calibration. SPI supplies certified standards for SEM, TEM and SPM, calibrated microspheres, stage micrometers for light microscopy, and asbestos reference standards.

Overview
Every measurement made from a micrograph rests on the magnification being correct, and magnification drifts — with working distance, with accelerating voltage, with time since the last service. Certified standards make the correction traceable: replica gratings and etched silicon structures of known pitch for SEM, crystal lattice and grating standards for TEM, calibrated step heights for the vertical axis in scanning probe microscopy, and stage micrometers for light microscopes. Calibrated microspheres of known diameter serve as an internal size reference within a field of view. SPI also supplies asbestos reference standards for fibre counting, though these are a regulated hazardous material and their import into Bangladesh should be confirmed before ordering.

Models

SEM Calibration and Resolution Standards
Certified reference and resolution standards for verifying SEM magnification accuracy and resolving power.

TEM Calibration and Resolution Standards
Most items are supplied ready-mounted on standard 3.05 mm copper TEM grids.

SPM/AFM Nanometer Calibration Standards
Nanometre pitch, step-height and pattern standards for calibrating scanning probe microscopes in all three axes.

Calibrated Microspheres
Calibrated microspheres provide NIST-traceable size standards usable across virtually any microscope type, including SEM, TEM, light microscopy, confocal, and SPM.

Asbestos Reference Standards
Certified asbestos fibre reference standards for counting protocols; a regulated material requiring import clearance.

Stage Micrometers
Stage micrometers are precision-ruled glass slides used to calibrate the magnification and measurement accuracy of light microscopes, confocal systems.
