Overview

The Solstice® Ace™ was the first femtosecond ultrafast amplifier designed, built, and tested to meet rigorous industrial standards. It incorporates modular components, adjustment-free EternAlign™ optical mounts, and field-proven pump and seed lasers to deliver an industry-leading, hands-free ultrafast light source. Using Spectra-Physics' patented Ace regenerative amplifier cavity, the Solstice Ace delivers more than 7 W at 1 kHz, 8 W at 5 kHz, and 7 W at 10 kHz with pulse widths configurable from less than 35 fs to less than 120 fs. Its exceptional beam quality makes it ideal for OPA pumping and a wide range of nonlinear spectroscopy applications.

Unsurpassed Stability

Solstice Ace is capable of reliable operation over a 10°C temperature range using adjustment-free EternAlign™ optical mounts to maximize long-term stability. The regenerative amplifier and the stretcher/compressor are housed in two independently temperature-stabilized enclosures to ensure optimal stability in a wide range of environments.

Exceptional Performance

Using Spectra-Physics' patented Ace regenerative amplifier cavity, the Solstice Ace delivers more than 7 W at 1 kHz, 8 W at 5 kHz, and 7 W at 10 kHz with pulse width configurations ranging from less than 35 fs to less than 120 fs. For every configuration, beam quality is exceptional (M² <1.25), making it well suited to OPA pumping and nonlinear spectroscopy.
