Overview

Precision Grade Ergonomic Vision IsoStation™ with rigid support legs are designed with the seated user in mind and inherit many unique and innovative features from the original Vision IsoStation. The workstation features a precision grade modal damped optical breadboard with rigid support legs that are field upgradable to pneumatic isolation. It offers more legroom with an included hip guard and arm rests for seated users, ships fully assembled with a roll-off crate for fast and easy installation, and provides a surface flatness of ±0.004 in. over any 2 ft. square.

Patented Modal Dampers for Highest Damping Performance

Our precision grade modal damped optical breadboards combine patented modal damping technology and a unique integrated broadband damping design to deliver supreme performance and reliability for the most critical applications. Patented modal damping technology (US 6,598,545) utilizes two pieces of uniquely designed dampers combined using specially chosen elastomers, to dissipate the vibrations evenly, quickly and effectively.

Designed Workstations for Seated Users with Innovative Platform Interface

With an open-front design and included hip guard and arm rests, the Vision IsoStation Ergo has been designed for seated users. The Ergo provides extra legroom for seated people while maintaining sturdy support allowing more comfortable examinations, operations, and experiments.

Field Upgradability from Rigid Frame to Isolated Frame

Vision IsoStation was designed with maximum user flexibility in mind. When you purchase a rigid frame version of the workstation and later decide to upgrade to isolated frame, simply contact Newport and order an upgrade kit that allows you to upgrade your system in the field easily.
