Oxidation Stability Tester: RapidOxy 100 and RapidOxy 100 Fuel
Oxidation stability is critical across all industries, as it directly influences product quality and shelf life. The RapidOxy 100 oxidation stability tester speeds up oxidation stability and shelf-life testing – releasing fuels up to 20 times faster than alternative methods.

Manufacturer: Anton Paar — Austria
Overview
Oxidation stability is critical across all industries, as it directly influences product quality and shelf life. The RapidOxy 100 oxidation stability tester is the only instrument capable of performing the Rapid Small-Scale Oxidation Test (RSSOT), using high temperature and oxygen pressure to accelerate sample aging and deliver fast, precise, fully automated results. As a compact oxidation stability tester, RapidOxy 100 is ideal for quality control, enabling fast and simple stability testing across a wide range of sample types. Its sealed measurement system also enables direct oxygen uptake measurement and activation energy calculation, an essential advantage for R&D teams seeking in-depth understanding of oxidation behavior.
One of a Kind: Efficiency Meets Functionality
Speed up your oxidation stability and shelf-life testing: Release a fuel up to 20 times faster than alternative methods with RapidOxy 100 Fuel. Avoid months of storage stability testing of foods, cosmetics, or flavors & fragrances with RapidOxy 100. Additional time and cost savings, combined with unparalleled user convenience, are achieved through full automation. As an advanced oxidation stability tester, RapidOxy 100 streamlines workflows with effortless measurement setup and simple wipe-clean handling of the test chamber in less than five minutes. Sample preparation is unnecessary, regardless of sample type or consistency.
Unmatched Variety and Flexibility in Application
A key advantage of the RapidOxy 100 oxidation stability tester is the exceptional versatility of its measuring principle. A single instrument determines oxidation stability across fuel types, feedstocks, and biofuel contents in full compliance with relevant standards – eliminating the need for multiple devices. Beyond fuels, RapidOxy 100 evaluates oxidation stability and shelf life for samples from industries including food, cosmetics, and flavors & fragrances. Samples are tested as used, without preparation, regardless of consistency. Flexible parameters such as temperature, pressure, and stop criteria allow full customization of every test.
Full Investigation Flexibility
The measurement curve provides deep insight into a product’s oxidation and shelf-life behavior. The OxyLogger 100 desktop software enhances convenience by enabling one-click comparison of measurements. Oxidation induction time (OIT) is determined automatically using tangent evaluation, expanding analysis capabilities. Based on the Arrhenius relationship, OxyLogger 100 can automatically calculate activation energy or estimate shelf life for fats and oils with a single click. In addition, oxygen uptake can be displayed at any point in time for comprehensive result interpretation.
Maximum Safety
The safety hood locks automatically when a measurement starts and remains locked until the measuring chamber has cooled, and pressure has been safely released. During operation, integrated overpressure and overtemperature shut-off functions ensure maximum operator safety. These safety features have been independently tested and verified by the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM).
