Overview
ANOPORE membranes are fabricated from a unique anodized aluminum oxide structure with a highly controlled, uniform capillary pore geometry, offering advantages over polymer membranes including much higher flow rates, very efficient particle retention, and thermal stability up to 450 degrees C. They are supplied in 0.02, 0.1, and 0.2 µm pore sizes across 13, 25, and 47 mm disc diameters, making them well suited to fine filtration, TEM sample preparation, and applications where the membrane itself must survive high-temperature processing steps that would destroy a polymer membrane.
Fine and Ultrafine Pore Sizes
The 0.02, 0.1, and 0.2 µm pore ANOPORE discs provide a high flow rate combined with very efficient fine-particle retention. Their ceramic construction lets them be processed at temperatures that would destroy a standard polymer membrane.
